This is my new strategy chart for 6 Handed 5 Card Draw as played on Pokerstars. Click the thumbnail image to view the chart. Let me know if you have any questions. If somebody wants to take this and make a spreadsheet chart out of it and send it to me, I will also put it up. The system has tightened up. With the addition of the 6th player, obviously the ranges had to be fine tuned, and a new position accounted for in all the decisions. I even give some post-draw advice for the opening strategy. The tightening up of opening ranges like now needing KK from the hijack ( in the old system hijack would be equivalent to UTG) instead of QQ, and needing JJ in the cutoff as opposed to TT being ok before, have been altered based on mathematical modelling and hand databases using more accurate calling ranges then I did before. So to make a long story short, i re-checked all my math from the old system when taking into account the 6th position, and most of it was right, but some changes had to be made. This new system is pretty much not exploitable pre-draw but some adjustments do have to me made for specific types of opponents and I touch on that in the chart. Post-draw skill is very key though to winning at the game. The best way to learn the Post-draw skill other then experience is to watch my Draw videos. There are other changes to the Draw system as well that I will touch on in the future. (Hint: Draws can be ok to play sometimes)  |

So far the system works very good for me at low stakes. The thing is that i play FL not PL and sometimes it feels that i'm playing a bit too tight, at micro stakes tables people are following every flush draw open ender even gutshots etc pre, looking for ways to exploit that a bit more...
