|
|
Hi all,
Just joined to the site. I don't know about you, but I like to watch poker training videos on my PC media centre. Sit back, relax, maybe with a glass of whisky, and absorb the knowledge. Yes, my girlfriend thinks I'm crazy (you're watching someone else play Poker?), but I'm sure you all understand.
Anyway, to be able the watch the videos in full screen here's what to do:
1. Navigate to the video
2. Have a look at the URL. It'll be something like this: http://realpokertraining.com/player.php?vidID=10046
3. Change player.php to player2.swf. So the url is now http://realpokertraining.com/player2.swf?vidID=10046. Hit enter to load the url
4. The video will start to load full screen, and ... nooo ... will then pop back to small screen. No matter, just right click and then "Zoom In", then right click again and "Zoom Out". It will now fill the screen.
5. Finally, hit F11 (or View | Full Screen) on the browser to get maximum size.
Hope that helps someone - I would have been canceling my membership if I hadn't worked it out; the videos are no fun small screen.
Cheers,
Leon |

Thanks for this, I always used to use the quick function to change the screen resolution but this seems much easier. Anyobdy else find this a lot better? What are the chances of making this the default Ryan???

They won't be able to make it the default, as the current default has various other functions on the page (comments, navigation, watched button etc). Using this method you are just viewing the swf (Flash) file, and therefore can have no other page elements.
What would be possible is a "View Full-screen" button to open a page with a full sized .swf in a new window. They could also probably remove the size check that causes the video to resize once it loads (removing the need to zoom in/zoom out).
Cheers,
